Today's Breaking News from around the Las Vegas valley.

11 P.M.

A man has died in a stabbing that stemmed from a domestic situation inside a car. Las Vegas police initially responded to University Medical Center around 8 p.m. regarding the stabbing. The suspect has been detained. READ MORE.

3 P.M.

A barricade situation that began at 10:30 a.m. near 14th and Stewart streets in Downtown Las Vegas is now over. The incident began when police went to a man's home to arrest him. The man was arrested at approximately 2:56 p.m.

8:30 A.M.

Police have cleared the scene. There was nothing dangerous in cooler at Silver Sevens. Flamingo Road will reopen in a few minutes.

8:05 A.M.

There does not appear to be a threat at Silver Sevens at this time. Police are still on the scene though at this time.

6:25 A.M.

Las Vegas police are on the scene of an incident at Silver Sevens hotel-casino. Eastbound Flamingo Road, just east of Paradise Road, has been shut down due to security finding a cooler containing suspicious contents. The hotel-casino has not been evacuated at this time.

4:17 A.M.

Interstate 15 south bound is closed at Mile Marker 91 (near Moapa) due to a multi-vehicle crash involving 5 semi trucks and 2 passenger vehicles. No injuries have been reported at this time.
