Sentencing was postponed to Jan. 15 in the sex assault conviction of a self-described pimp accused in another case of killing three people in a shooting and crash on the Las Vegas Strip.

Ammar Harris' new defense attorneys asked Wednesday for more time to prepare presentencing reports before Harris is sentenced on his rape and robbery convictions.

Prosecutors didn't object, and Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney granted the request.

Defense attorneys Robert Langford and Thomas Ericsson were appointed last month to represent Harris in both the sex assault and Strip slaying cases after a team of special public defenders withdrew.

Harris is accused in the Strip shooting and crash case of fatally shooting an aspiring rapper and causing a fiery wreck that killed a cab driver and passenger.
