UPDATE NOV. 27: The coroner has identified the man who was hit by more than one vehicle near East Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard as 60-year-old Clark Walter. Cause of death was multiple injuries.
ORIGINAL STORY
At 8:40 p.m. on November 23, a pedestrian was hit by several vehicles on East Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
Evidence at the scene and witness statements say the 60-year-old pedestrian entered the road against the red pedestrian crossing signal. The man was crossing outside of the marked crosswalk when a dark-colored pickup truck hit him. The man was run over for a second time by a white station wagon.
The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither the dark truck or the white station wagon remained on the scene of the collision.
