UPDATE ON MARCH 11: The Clark County Coroner identified the patient as 62-year-old Kay Garfield from Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- One person is dead after a Medic West ambulance and another vehicle were involved in a crash on Friday.
According to police, a patient in the back of the ambulance died as a result of a medical episode from the crash.
It happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. near East Flamingo and South Pecos roads.
The Clark County coroner will release the name and age of the deceased after relatives have been notified.
