LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring workers for temporary positions in Las Vegas ahead of the 2020 Census.
The positions have different pay ranges, starting at $16.50 per hour in Clark County.
Working for the Census Bureau benefits the local community and will help give an accurate and complete count, according to the agency.
The count happens every ten years and influences more than $675 billion from over 100 federal programs - as census numbers affect Medicaid, school lunch programs, road construction and more according to the census.
