Summer pool job fairs at Las Vegas hotels | 2019

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The year has just begun, but resorts in Las Vegas are already looking forward to the summer pool season with job fairs happening in January.

Here are a few of the summer pool job fairs happening this month:

Hakkasan Group - Jan. 4-5 & 14-16

Global hospitality company, Hakkasan Group, announces its 2019 pool season casting call for its globally recognized dayclubs at MGM Grand hotel-casino and LIQUID Pool Lounge at ARIA hotel-casino beginning Friday, Jan. 4.

Interested applicants are invited to audition for an array of open opportunities including model cocktail servers, model beverage runners, model bartenders, model barbacks, security specialists, promoters, food runners, cashiers, lifeguards and bar porters for both popular daylife venues.

Limited to 250 interviews per day, job seekers may apply at Hakkasan Nightclub inside MGM Grand on Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Also, Monday, Jan. 14 through Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Must be a minimum of 21 years old to apply and willing to audition in swimwear for model positions.

M Resort - Jan. 18 & 19

M Resort spa-casino’s M Pool and DayDream Pool Club prepare for an unprecedented pool season with casting calls on Friday, Jan. 18 and Saturday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Ravello Lounge on the casino floor.

Prospective employees should apply online prior to arrival and a resume and a headshot is also requested for all auditioning.

Times:

Cocktail Servers from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

MGM Resorts - Jan. 9 & 12

Don’t let the cold weather fool you, it’s time to think about summer. And about joining the MGM Resorts team. The company is hiring seasonal employees for all properties across the Strip.

MGM Resorts is gearing up for the busy Las Vegas pool season by holding a Seasonal Career Fair to fill more than 1,000 poolside positions at 13 different resorts on the Las Vegas Strip: ARIA, Bellagio, Circus Circus, Delano, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, The Mirage, Park MGM, New York-New York, The Signature at MGM Grand and Vdara.

The resoirt said its looking for engaging, energetic employees to support seasonal pool and hotel operations.

Positions include pool guest attendants, lifeguards, cabana hosts, security officers, , retail, massage therapists, spa attendants and more.

The Seasonal Career Fair is Wednesday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mandalay Bay in the South Convention Center on the third floor in the South Seas Ballroom.

Applicants are encouraged to:

  • Apply in advance here .
  • Bring multiple copies of their current resumé.
  • Park in the convention center parking garage and then take the escalators to the South Seas Ballroom. Parking is free for applicants, who may pick up a voucher at the event.

Interviews will be conducted at the event, and some applicants will be hired on the spot.

Job training for applicants who are selected for the seasonal positions will begin as soon as February. The resort pool season in Las Vegas generally extends through mid-October.

Flamingo Las Vegas - Jan. 14

Pool season is right around the corner and Flamingo Las Vegas’ GO Pool Dayclub is hosting a casting call for open positions on Monday, Jan. 14.

The daylife destination is accepting applications for bartenders, cocktail servers, bar apprentices, bar porters, food runners, VIP hosts, cabana hosts, fountain workers and security guards looking to join the “flock” and provide impeccable guest service throughout the 2019 pool season.

The Jan. 14 open casting call will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bally's Employment Center located at 3645 Las Vegas Blvd South.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas - Jan. 15-16 & 19

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will host a three-day pool hiring mixer for the 2019 summer season. The resort is looking to fill the following positions on the specified days and times:

Tuesday, Jan. 15
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Beverage Servers

Wednesday, Jan. 16
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Mixologists, Bar Porters, Food Servers and Bussers

Saturday, Jan. 19
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Hosts and Lifeguards

The Cosmopolitan ditches the traditional career fair and invites jobseekers to dive into new opportunities during this social, mixer-style event at Rose. Rabbit. Lie. on level two of The Chelsea Tower. Attendees will enjoy tray-passed mocktails and a musical guest while meeting with hiring managers. Jobseekers are encouraged to dress business casual and bring their resumés to the event.

Palms Las Vegas - Jan. 4-6

The Palms hotel-casino will be hosting a casting call for its new dayclub and nightclub set to open later this year. The new club is looking to fill 1,000 positions from cocktail servers to hosts and go-go dancers before its scheduled spring opening.

Here is the casting call schedule:

Jan. 4:
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (marketing hosts, promoters, VIP liaisons)

Jan. 5:
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (security)

Jan. 6:
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (all positions)

All applicants should bring appropriate swim attire for the relevant positions and the hiring event entrance will be near the Pearl Concert Theater.

Caesars Entertainment - Jan. 5

Candidates seeking summer positions are invited to the 2019 Summer Pool Hiring Event at the Caesars Entertainment Employment Center. With eight Las Vegas resorts seeking new team members, hundreds of positions are available for the duration of the exciting 2019 pool season.

Applicant interviews will take place Saturday, Jan. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
