RENO (KTNV) — Wildland firefighting positions with Bureau of Land Management Nevada are open now through February, with some positions closing as early as Dec. 10 .
Below are the current vacancy announcement numbers and deadlines to apply.
Base hourly pay ranges from $12.95 to $20.61 per hour. Previous firefighting experience is not a requirement for entry level positions.

BLM Nevada has one of the largest firefighting programs in the continental U.S. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have a valid passport or birth certificate and a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years old and pass a work capacity test (pack test) on the first day.
Those who are hired will be seasonally employed from April through October.
