Lightning has caused several fires on the west side of the Las Vegas valley. A tree was hit by lightning and caught fire near Village Center and Hill Center drives in Summerlin. 

8:20 A.M.

Las Vegas police have confirmed a stabbing at 6300 W. Lake Mead Boulevard, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive. READ MORE

Firefighters have put out a fire at an apartment complex near Swenson and Desert Inn. Investigators believe squatters started the fire. READ MORE

OVERNIGHT

At 11:23 p.m. on the night of Sept. 12, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Paradise Road, near Harmon Avenue. READ MORE
