If summer has you thinking about spending relaxing hours in the pool, you’re probably not alone. But, if like many of us, you don’t have a pool in your backyard, you might wonder if the coronavirus will put a damper on your plans to cool off in the water because gyms and public pools may not open anytime soon.

One company, Polygroup, came up with a clever way to enjoy a dip almost anywhere, as long as you have a pickup truck! The Summer Waves Truck Bed Pool is exactly what it claims. It’s a pool you can slide into your truck’s cargo hold, inflate, and then fill with water. Voila! This inflatable pool for your vehicle is certainly a twist on the typical above-ground pool.

Check it out on @polygroup’s Instagram:

This portable, inflatable pool is meant only for short truck beds, so keep that in mind before ordering. The pool measures 66 inches long, 62 inches wide and 21 inches high and is made up of two air chambers that fill the thick pool lining.

It’s important to note that you should only fill the pool after the truck is parked. Once the pool is filled, the load on the truck will be close to its weight limit. And, driving around with a full pool with people inside is not very safe!

Also, this pool is for adults only.

The Summer Waves Truck Bed Pool is only available at Walmart and sells for $44.88. Check your local availability: if it’s out of stock in your area, you can have Walmart send you an email alert when it returns.

The product can be ordered online for pickup or delivery, which is great if you are social distancing!

This pool could be a fun and creative way to kick back and relax a little this summer while staying close to home. Plus, once you’re done with it, you can simply drain it and store it away until next time. No fussing with cleaning it up or with chemicals!
