LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Here is a list of New Year's Eve events and celebrations happening in Las Vegas as the calendar turns from 2019 to 2020:

The Las Vegas Monorail will be the only motorized method of transportation operating along the Las Vegas Strip for New Year’s Eve. It will operate continuously from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 through the entire New Year’s Day (Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020) and until 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, for a total of 43 straight hours.

Locals can purchase $1 single-ride tickets at customer service booths located at every station (except the Las Vegas Convention Center) from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Dec. 31 with proof of Nevada I.D. For out-of-town guests, regularly priced tickets are $5 for a single ride and unlimited-ride passes are available for 24 hours, two days, three days and more beginning at $13.

The Regional Transportation Commission will be offering free rides on all of its transit routes on New Year's Eve. The free rides will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 9 a.m. New Year's Day.

The free rides include express transit services between RTC operated park-and-ride facilities and partner lots located across the valley. Those celebrating New Year’s Eve can take advantage of the facilities, where it is free to park, to avoid the holiday traffic. Transit service to both the Las Vegas Strip and downtown Las Vegas is offered at the following RTC operated park & ride facilities:

· SOUTH: South Strip Transit Terminal (6675 S. Gilespie St.) via the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX) and Maryland Parkway Route 109.

· NORTHWEST: Centennial Hills Transit Center and Park & Ride (7313 Grand Montecito Pkwy.) via the Centennial Express (CX)

· WEST: Westcliff Transit Center and Park & Ride (25 S. Durango Dr.) via the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX)

In addition to free transit service, the RTC is making transit even more convenient for the holiday by adding service. In addition to the thirteen RTC routes that regularly run 24/7, several other routes will run on a 24-hour schedule or with extended hours, including the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX) service, which will run from midnight to 3:30 a.m.

The Las Vegas Coalition for Zero Fatalities is increasing efforts to eliminate impaired driving with the announcement of new partners and an unprecedented pledge of $300,000 in free ride credit for high volume consumption holidays throughout 2020. New and existing users can receive up to $5 off two rides anywhere via Lyft in Las Vegas with code “LASNYE” from Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. through Jan. 1 at 4 p.m., while supplies last.

Continuing its unprecedented performance schedule of two shows a night every night of the year, ABSINTHE will perform at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 31. Although the limited number of VIP New Year’s Eve packages are sold out, showgoers and passersby will have access to the Green Fairy Garden throughout the evening, to groove and imbibe while celebrating under the towering boughs of the ABSINTHE Electric Oak with live music starting at 8 p.m. and the Green Fairy Garden’s cash bars open until 1:30 a.m. The Green Fairy Garden offers one of the best views of The Strip’s sweeping fireworks presentation.

New Year's Eve with Rhythm Nation Formed in San Francisco, Calif., Rhythm Nation is bringing their unique blend of vocal harmonies and soul rhythm section to Access Showroom as they ring in the new year with soul. The six-piece ensemble includes talented vocalists and musicians playing live, creating their signature, versatile sound.

Rhythm Nation’s performance will feature top ‘60s Motown and ‘70s disco hits from iconic groups like The Temptations and Kool & The Gang, as well as today’s greatest hits from artists like Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake.

Showtime is 9 p.m. Tickets start at $35 plus taxes and convenience fees.

Celebrate the New Year with The Kitchen at Atomic and Atomic Liquors! The Kitchen is open for the holiday offering their recently debuted “Fallout” happy hour menu. Guests will enjoy $7 cocktails, $5 wine and $6 draft beer. Delectable small plates include some of Chef Jackson Stamper’s most popular menu items which range from $8-$12. A champagne or Miller High Life toast is available at both Atomic Liquors and The Kitchen at Atomic at midnight.

Looking to toast the New Year’s with a rooftop party? BEER PARK and Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas will come together to host a massive rooftop bash on Tuesday, Dec. 31. The party will include a premium open bar from 9 p.m. to midnight and complete access to BEER PARK and Chateau.

Plus, Chateau will offer packages with VIP offerings including bottle service, featuring Belvedere vodka and champagne.

At midnight, guests will be invited to raise their glasses and toast the New Year underneath the replica of the iconic Eiffel Tower, along with unobstructed, Strip-side views featuring the spectacular fireworks show.

General admission tickets to the New Year’s Eve celebration will start at $125, while BEER PARK’s individual bar seating reservation and champagne toast are priced at $200, plus tax and fees.

Ring in 2020 at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. with a Blue Hawaii New Year’s Bash! Guests will enjoy an evening of live DJ entertainment, open bar all night, stationed hors d’oeuvres, and a full entrée buffet. Additionally, there will be a special photo-opp with The King Shrimp Louie!

Dress to impress and party the night away with the best views of The Strip, a midnight firework show and champagne toast to cap off the evening!

The event runs from 9 p.m. to midnight with adult tickets available for $120.

Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will toast to 2020 with an unforgettable Strip-side patio party, complete with unobstructed views of Las Vegas’ New Year’s Eve fireworks display. General admission to the patio is priced starting at $200 per person, which includes an all-you-can-drink beverage package and patio access.

VIP access to the patio is also available, priced starting at $500 per person, which includes front-and-center seating, an all-you-can-drink beverage option and a three-course meal including the choice of one appetizer, entrée and dessert from the cantina’s regular menu.

The LOFT, the restaurant’s posh upstairs event space, is also available for reservation for groups seeking a private party with the same incredible Strip view, starting at $125 per person. The festivities on the patio and loft start at 9 p.m. and are on a first come, first served basis, open all day and night.

Welcome in the new year with drinks, dancing and DJs at the largest bar - Alto Bar - with bottle service packages starting at $700 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The award-winning Bacchanal Buffet will ring in the new year with a potato souffle with Petrossian caviar; lobster Thermador; king crab risotto; tenderloin of beef Oscar-style with crab, asparagus and bearnaise; espresso rubbed prime rib; Yorkshire pudding; and more—all in addition to the traditional offerings from the nine kitchens.

Spend New Year’s Eve with flavors of the Southwest at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill, which will feature additional menu items for the holiday including a pork belly tostada, fire-roasted surf and turf, lobster out of the shell and chocolate caramel cake.

For an English pub experience on New Year’s Eve, guests can head to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, which will offer a prix-fixe menu for the holiday. The specialty menu includes pan-seared diver scallops as the starter, roasted beef wellington with the choice of butter-poached lobster tail or foie gras as the entrée and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, priced at $125.

Turn up the heat this New Year’s Eve at Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN at Caesars Palace. The restaurant invites guests to enjoy Strip-side views and specialty multi-course menus featuring caviar, lobster risotto, the famed beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. The New Year’s Eve menu is priced at $220 per guest or $315 with a wine pairing. There will also be a Gala menu available throughout the evening featuring an additional course, priced at $295 per guest, $415 with a wine pairing and $465 with a prestige wine pairing.

MR CHOW will round out 2019 with a three-course menu featuring celebratory dishes such as golden nugget water dumplings, ma mignon, white lobster and more. The modern Beijing-cuisine restaurant will begin the first seating at 6 p.m., priced at $95 per person, and the second seating will begin at 9:30 p.m., priced at $130 per person. Guests may also select the suggested Champagne pairing for an additional $160 per person. Reservations can be made by calling (702)731-7888.

Old Homestead Steak House will offer a prix-fixe menu on New Year’s Eve featuring luxurious items such as smoked salmon and caviar parfait, surf and turf and a holiday sundae with gold specks and hot “liquid gold.” The New Year’s Eve menu will be priced at $200, and guests may choose to partake in a celebratory toast with Louis XIII Cognac de Rémy Martin, beginning at $50.

Rao’s will get in on the New Year’s Eve festivities by offering a three-course, prix-fixe menu featuring signature Italian flavors, priced at $98 person. The holiday menu includes selections such as baked clams, linguini carbonara, penne vodka, veal piccata, porcini risotto and more. Guests may choose to complement their meal with the suggested wine pairing for an additional $45 per person. Additional à la carte sides and menu items will also be available for the holiday.

Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace will offer a specialty menu on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day featuring multiple courses and priced at $550 per person. Selections will include coco beans and foie gras terrine, octopus in cold steam, roasted Maine lobster, Savoy’s famous artichoke and black truffle soup, grilled Japanese wagyu and more. The award-winning restaurant offers prime views of the Strip and New Year’s Eve fireworks with its floor-to-ceiling windows and terrace seating.

Take in the famed Las Vegas Strip fireworks show with prime views from the Terrace of OMNIA Nightclub. Recognized as Las Vegas’ top nightclub, guests will welcome 2020 with one of the decade’s top DJs and producers, Calvin Harris. Commemorate the occasion under one of Las Vegas’ most Instagrammable locations, OMNIA’s kinetic chandelier, as the GRAMMY Award-winning artist sets the stage for an epic night. VISTA Cocktail Lounge at Caesars Palace will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a chic, intimate party including drink packages, swag and a live DJ. Guests can choose between three bottle service packages starting at $700.

While most try to kick off the new year with a fresh start, many will enter 2020 with a nasty hangover – but Dog Haus has the cure! On New Year’s Day, stop by your favorite Dog Haus location and indulge in The Hangover Burger and a 16-ounce PBR can for just $5.99! This chef-driven burger creation – topped with white American cheese, smoked bacon, Haus chili, a fried egg and mayo – will get anyone right back on their feet after a wild night out.

Topping off a year filled with taco hype, viral videos, and cheese, thanks in part to NBA superstar LeBron James, the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino is celebrating the new year with a salute to a domestically-born tradition through an unrivaled activation: Taco Tuesday 2020, the cheesiest NYE party of the year.

From all-you-can-eat tacos, gourmet taco stations prepared by Chef Scott Commings, headlining entertainment, tequila tastings, games, give-a-ways, and a chance at $500,000 this FREE party promises to serve up your favorite weekly holiday with an over-the-top helping of festivities.

Miss Behave Hosts Taco Tuesday 2020
World-renowned host, specialty act, and curator Miss Behave will host TACO TUESDAY 2020 at Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. The raucously-delighful Strip headliner and acclaimed Queen of Ceremonies will bring her MC magic to the biggest FREE NYE bash in Las Vegas on Tuesday, December 31st.

Eastside Cannery Casino Hotel is welcoming 2020 with New Year’s Eve celebrations at One Six Sky Lounge and Marilyn’s Lounge on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Eastside Cannery’s December entertainment will also feature free live music at Marilyn’s Lounge and Pin-Ups Lounge, as well as free National Finals Rodeo viewing events at Marilyn’s Lounge.

Snaps Restaurant at Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel is making holiday dining easy, serving a scrumptious holiday platter on Christmas Day for $12.99. The holiday platter features sliced turkey, glazed ham, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, sweet potato, green bean casserole and a generous slice of pumpkin or pecan pie.

Chef Joho is serving a multi-course dinner showcasing elegant French cuisine with several seating’s throughout the evening including a 2-hour Sunset Dinner starting at 4:00 PM, 2-hour Pre-Theatre Dinner starting at 5:15 PM, 2-hour Premier Dinner starting at 7:15 PM and Gala Dinner. Dinner hours will be from 4 p.m. to Midnight.

The ladies of FANTASY at Luxor Hotel and Casino will make the final hours of 2019 extra sultry with an exclusive New Year’s Eve performance Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.

Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl at Flamingo Las Vegas
On New Year’s Eve, GRAMMY Award-winning singer and choreographer Paula Abdul’s headlining residency show, Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl at Flamingo Las Vegas, will take the audience on an intimate journey, as she pulls the curtain back with never-before told stories from her humble beginnings as a performer and choreographer, to her meteoric rise in the entertainment industry. Throughout her 10 glitzy costume changes, Abdul thrills with spectacular visuals, choreography, humor and heartfelt showbiz anecdotes, reminding audiences why she is Forever Your Girl.

Ring in 2020 sweetly. Freed’s Bakery , the popular family-owned establishment of 60 years will offer festive sweets to celebrate the New Year including spiked pipette mini cups and themed cupcakes available for purchase through Tuesday, Dec. 31.

New to the menu, Freed’s spiked pipette mini cup flavors include ‘Milk and Cookies,’ prepared with ganache, chocolate chip cookies and Disaronno panna cotta; ‘Mudslide,’ prepared with ganache, chocolate crunch and Kahlua coffee panna cotta and Baileys panna cotta; ‘Bourbon Caramel,’ prepared with salted caramel and Bourbon-caramel panna cotta; and ‘Choc-Chambord,’ prepared with a Chambord chocolate mousse and ganache.

Rounding out a year of unprecedented success, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Fremont Street Experience invite revelers to ring in 2020 in epic fashion for downtown’s largest New Year’s Eve celebration, America’s Party Downtown. America’s Party Downtown is the official New Year’s Eve party for the City of Las Vegas, and for the first time, America’s Party Downtown is presented by iHeartMedia Las Vegas.

The highlight of the planned New Year's Eve festivities is the official unveiling of the highly-anticipated $32 million dollar upgrade to the Viva Vision screen, the largest single digital display on the planet.

On Dec. 31it will be a mystery so embrace the present at Gold Spike & Inspire’s multi-venue masquerade ball, one of downtown Las Vegas’ biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Celebrate the final night of 2019 at the New Year’s Eve Estancia Party inside the Estancia Ballroom at Green Valley Ranch from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The event is free entry and will feature a live DJ, cash bar, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Guests must be 21 or over to attend.

Feast Buffet at Green Valley Ranch Casino Resort & Spa invited guests to indulge in a variety of cuisines as they celebrate. Highlights include Mongolian station including shaved prime beef and teriyaki duck; American station featuring swordfish with ginger cream, steak mac and cheese; Latin station featuring beef Chile Colorado, Al Pastor street taco; and much more. There will also be sweet offerings and unlimited champagne.

Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis at Green Valley Ranch Casino Resort & Spa will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a special a la carte holiday delectable menu. Highlights include Lobster Bisque Soup ($19); Chilled Chico Creek Oysters ($24); Pan Roasted White Seabass ($65); Snake River Farms Hangar Steak ($85); and Berries and Cream ($15).

Experience a live DJ from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and enjoy party favors with a midnight champagne toast at the Race & Sports Bar.

The luxurious Chinese restaurant located in MGM Grand, that will be offered on New Year’s Eve. At Hakkasan, diners will ring in 2020 with elevated Chinese dishes while sipping champagne in a refined and elegant space.

To start off the festivities, guests will receive a glass of Louis Roederer Brut Premier Champagne upon arrival, followed by delectable Hakkasan classics and reimagined favorites. From Supreme dim sum and Peking duck to Wok-seared Australian Wagyu ribeye and Roasted Alaskan Halibut, this New Year’s Eve dinner is the perfect send-off for 2019. After dessert, guests will have a complimentary midnight toast as they cheers to the new year.

The prix-fixe New Year’s Eve menu will be served at Hakkasan Las Vegas on December 31 during two seatings: one at 5 PM for $108 and one at 7 PM for $158, plus optional wine pairings for $88. A vegetarian prix-fixe menu will also be available to order as well.

Carnaval Court at Harrah’s Las Vegas will host its countdown celebration with an open-air street party with flair bartending and live entertainment. Partygoers can enjoy VIP bottle service starting at $300.

Flavors Buffet will offer signature staples as well as specialty holiday fare including honey baked bone-in ham, herb and butter-roasted turkey, spinach-crusted salmon and more.

Harrah’s Piano Bar’s party will feature great music and spectacular Strip views. Guests can purchase a party table for up to four guests, which includes a bottle of New Amsterdam vodka at several indoor and outdoor tables starting at $400. Harrah’s Piano Bar will also offer a New Year’s Eve party seat and beverage package for $100 per seat.

For a front row view of fireworks, guests can head to Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Harrah’s Las Vegas. The restaurant will offer a specialty prix-fixe menu with decadent dishes for $135 per person or $230 for two people.

Ring in the new year at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill with specialty menu items such as crab bisque, a steak and shrimp plate, deep fried catfish and more.

Henness & Haight recognizes that the risk of driving while intoxicated on major holidays is high and they want to help our community avoid DUI accidents by offering sober rides home. All you have to do is to make the decision to not drive while intoxicated by taking an Uber, Lyft or cab home. Pay the fare upfront, and Henness & Haight will reimburse you for it via Paypal.

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is getting a jump start on 2020. The authentic Bavarian beer hall and garden will host an afternoon party on Tuesday, Dec. 31 to usher in the new year at 3 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, 12 a.m. Central European Standard Time, right alongside revelers in Munich, where the original Hofbräuhaus is located.

The family-friendly party starts at 1 p.m. and will include live entertainment, German food specials, raffle prizes and swag, in addition to a celebratory ball drop, ceremonial keg tapping and complimentary beer toast, which will take place at 3 p.m.

West Coast mix-master, DJ Quik takes the stage at House of Blues Las Vegas kicking off New Year’s Eve Weekend celebrations Friday, Dec. 27 at 9 p.m. Known for his unique style of production, DJ Quik has been sought out by artists such as Jay-Z, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and many more. Tickets start at $25, plus applicable fees.

Third Eye Blind
Ring in New Year’s Eve with Third Eye Blind on the last stop of their Screamer Tour 2019 at House of Blues Las Vegas Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019. Doors opening at 7 p.m. with tickets starting at $55 plus applicable fees and go on sale. Going strong for more than two decades, Third Eye Blind scored their first hit in 1997 when their debut single “Semi-Charmed Life,” which cracked the Billboard Top 10.

Say goodbye to 2019 and hello to a new decade with a celebratory meal at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in Las Vegas. To mark the occasion, every guest will receive a complimentary prosecco toast.

Tres…Dos...Uno… fiesta! Morton Group’s funky downtown Mexican eatery, La Comida, located at 100 S. Sixth St, will host a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring special dishes on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announced rapper and singer Lizzo will headline the resort’s 2020 New Year’s Eve festivities on Dec. 31. Lizzo will ring in 2020 on a high note, bringing her undeniable energy back to The Chelsea for a second time this year. Rainer Becker's modern Japanese restaurant will start the New Year with the ultimate Omakase five-course prix-fixe menu. To start off the evening will be greeted with a Jumbo Prawn Cocktail, Watercress Salad, Tuna Tartare with Caviar and Sliced Seabass Sashimi with Yuzu, Truffle Oil and Salmon Roe. The deluxe menu includes decadent dishes like Kurobata Pork Belly, Alaskan King Crab, U.S. Rib Eye with Chili Ponzu and an exclusive selection of Chef Simon’s sushi & sashimi.

The LINQ Hotel + Experience will get the party started at The Book with live entertainment, interactive games and a dessert buffet surrounded by over 50 televisions and digital screens. Celebrate a return to the ’20s this New Year’s Eve in The Underground speakeasy and distillery. Ring in 2020 in 1920s Prohibition-era style with handcrafted cocktails flowing all evening long and delectable food specials with live jazz setting the ambiance and a champagne toast at midnight. Rock band The Offspring will close out the decade at the Pearl Theater inside the Palms hotel-casino on Monday, Dec. 30 at 9 p.m. The Offspring band has performed more than 1,100 shows across the globe and sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Stanhope has a comedy show on Comedy Central and has appeared on many shows including “The Howard Stern Show”, “Comedy Central Presents” and BBC’s “Floor Show Live.”

There will also be late night live entertainment in the Plaza’s Omaha Lounge on the casino floor where people can continue the festivities into the early hours of 2020.

Ring in the new year at the highest party on the Las Vegas Strip. The Observation Deck on the 108th floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod will be hosting ‘108 Party in the Sky’ on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31.
