LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County, in collaboration with the Southern Nevada Health District, Community Ambulance and Guardian Elite Medical Services (GEMS), will offer testing for COVID-19 on May 26-27 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the parking garage of the Sam’s Town Hotel.
The testing is free and will be set up to accommodate drive-thru and walk-up clients. No appointments are necessary. The site will have 500 tests available each day on a first-come, first-served basis.
The testing will take place in the first-floor parking garage located near the property’s entrance off Boulder Highway and East Flamingo Road.
County officials and community partners are working on expanding the availability of COVID-19 testing in the Las Vegas Valley and in rural areas throughout Southern Nevada.
Additional testing will be available on May 23 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Searchlight Community Center located on 200 Michael Wendell Way, 89046, for residents of Searchlight, Cal-Nev-Ari, Palm Gardens and Nelson.
No appointment is necessary. Three hundred test kits are available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis during the testing operation.
