Special Olympics torch makes its way through Las Vegas

The Special Olympics Nevada Law Enforcement Torch Run passed through the Las Vegas valley on Friday.

Law enforcement officers from 34 agencies across the state took part in the event. They ran alongside Special Olympics athletes carrying the Flame of Hope.

The first run stated in 2002 and raised over $2 million dollars for Special Olympics Nevada.

Day two of the run finished Friday evening at Nellis Air Force Base.
