Have you heard of the #FlamingoChallenge yet?
It's a social media campaign launched by Flamingo Las Vegas to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.
So far, Las Vegas performers who have participated include Celine Dion, Marie Osmond, Penn & Teller, Matt Franco, Piff the Magic Dragon. Other participants include the Crazy Girls, the High Roller observation wheel, employees at The Cromwell and Silent Savasana.
The way it works is like this:
Post onto social media a picture or video of you and your friends mimicking the flamingo one-legged pose in fun and unique places.
Nominate your friends; they have 24 hours to respond or forfeit and make a financial pledge to the American Cancer Society at the following website: ACSFlamingoChallenge.com.
The Flamingo's goal is to raise $70,000 by Oct. 31 in celebration of the iconic casino-resort’s 70th anniversary.
