13 Things To Do This Week For March 4-10

Here is a list of 13 things to do this week in Las Vegas for the week of March 4 through 10:

1. USA Sevens Rugby is back at Sam Boyd Stadium March 4-6.Rugby sevens is a fast-paced, thrilling variation on traditional rugby with two seven-player teams battling in 14-minute matches. Teams from all over the world will compete.

2. The Off-Broadway hit "Piaf: Love Conquers All" takes the stage March 4 at the Winchester Cultural Center. The musical tells the story of the French icon Edith Piaf.

3. Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow and the Las Vegas City Council is hosting a fishing derby for youth and their families on March 5 at Lorenzi Park. Breakfast and lunch provided while supplies last. Just bring your fishing pole.

4. This month's theme for First Friday in downtown Las Vegas is Edible Arts. The monthly arts, music and food festival takes place near Charleston Boulevard and Casino Center Drive.

5. Open Container presented by Motley Brew is back at the Downtown Container Park on March 4. Sip on a selection of seasonal beers under the stars and enjoy classic movie clips and hilarious shorts on the big screen.

6. The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay is hosting the ultimate craft beer and music festival for the fourth time. Local Brews Local Grooves on March 5 will features more than 10 local bands and a plethora of breweries.

7. McFadden's at Town Square is hosting a viewing party for UFC 196: Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz on March 5. $5 burgers, $10 pizzas, and half-prices wells and domestic drafts.

8. The local indie punk band Moonboots will celebrate the release of their latest EP with a party on March 5 at Bunkhouse Saloon. First 50 fans will receive free copy. Performances also by The Astaires, O WILDLY and The American Weather.

9. Ocean Sevens presents Sean Paul Live in Las Vegas on March 5 at Foxtail inside SLS Las Vegas. Soundtrack by Fully Focus, Shinski, Waxfiend, Simple Simon, Slim, Mix Master David and more.

10. The Downtown Las Vegas Coloring Club will meet at noon March 6 at The Writer's Block. All ages are welcome. Crayons and pictures provided or bring your own.

11. The Antique Mall of America is hosting a family-friendly car, truck and bike show on March 6. There will also be rescued dogs for adoption and activities for kids. Hosted by Esquires Car Club, Fright Dome, Retrofitz LV/Outhouse Cruisers CC, and Von Deeter Designs.

12. Comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short with the Steep Canyon Rangers perform March 6 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

13. The Men of Steele, a male revue, will appear the first and third Thursday of every month at the Las Vegas Country Saloon on Fremont Street beginning March 10.
