13 Things To Do This Week In Las Vegas For April 14-20

Here is a list of 13 things happening this week in Las Vegas for April 14-20:

1. The award-winning a capella group from England Semi-Toned performs April 14 at the Historic Fifth Street School. Their musical inspirations range from R&B and hip-hop to classical. 

2. The Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend continues through April 16 at The Orleans. The music festival and car show is the largest of its kind in the world. Also enjoy burlesque bingo, fashion shows, pool parties, classes/workshops and more.

3. Broadway legend Alice Ripley performs April 14 and 15 at The Space. Her show is titled "Ripley Reflects" and features a variety of music from her Broadway career and as a solo artist.

4. The son of Mel Torme, Steve March-Torme, performs in the Cabaret Jazz Theater at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts April 14 and 15. He will perform songs by Ray Charles, Cole Porter, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and his dad.

5. Learn about Dutch Oven cooking and sample some delectable dishes at an event from 9 a.m. to noon April 15 at the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort.

6. Sin City Rollergirls will host a triple-header on April 15. The first game between the SCRG All-Stars and V-Town Derby Dames will begin at 11 a.m. Game 2 is at 1:45 p.m. and game 3 is at 4:30. Concessions will be available.

7. The work of ceramic sculpture artist MaryAnn Ferguson is currently on display at The Gallery of Music and Art in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The exhibit is titled "The Passion of Color." A reception for the artist is taking place 3 to 5 p.m. April 15.

8. The Henderson Heritage Parade & Festival is happening April 15 at the Henderson Events Plaza. There will be international food booths, cooking demonstrations, craft booths, a classic car show and a parade.

9. Kool and The Gang performs April 15 at The Tropicana. The band rose to fame in the '70s. Hit songs include "Celebration," "Jungle Boogie" and "Hollywood Swinging."

10. Adrenaline Sports Bar is hosting a benefit for homeless veterans on April 15. There will be multiple performances from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Performers include Jeff, Shawn and Matt Duncan, Tailgun, Cyanide, Attack of the Rising, Bakers Dozen, DC4, DriVeN and more. There will also be a car show, food and drink specials.

11. Free punk show at the Beauty Bar on April 15 will feature performances by Civilians, Sheiks of Neptune and The Psyatics.

12. The Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour and Customer Swap Meet is happening April 15 at Henderson Harley-Davidson. There will be free barbecue, $2 beers and riders performing stunts on their motorcycles.

13. Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel, also known as Phantogram, perform April 19 at the Brooklyn Bowl. There will be an after-party with the duo and Jose Cuervo at Commonwealth in Downtown Las Vegas.
