A 78-year-old woman always wanted to attend prom and recently, she got the chance while also being named prom queen.
Betty Johnson got to attend prom at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline, Illinois, as part of an event the staff puts on each year.
According to WQAD, Johnson and her husband Leo were never into dancing when they were younger, preferring to roller skate. But she still wanted to attend prom.
Johnson was pronounced prom queen with her husband in the wheelchair besides hers, WQAD reported.
