Bail was set for $1 million Tuesday morning for the man accused of shooting a Las Vegas police officer last week.

Teag Fox is being charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon of a police officer, battery with a deadly weapon on a police officer, battery with use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm on a police officer, and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

On Thursday, an officer was shot when responding to a domestic disturbance. Police said Fox was not connected to the disturbance. Fox asked the officer, "Are you here to kill me?" and shot at the officer, who was later identified as Gregory Sedminik. The officer is recovering from a gunshot wound to the armpit.

Fox was arrested later Thursday after leaving a residence in the Southern Highlands area.

Also Tuesday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department held a press conference, detailing all three officer-involved shootings last week. There have been 15 officer-involved shootings so far this year, the same number as this time last year.

Two suspects were fatally shot on Monday, one of which has been classified as a "suicide by cop" and the other a robbery suspect who pointed a gun at police.

Brenda Dean Kimberling attempted to pull the trigger on gun to shoot herself on Dec. 14. But when she was unable to, she pointed the gun at officers and then was shot. She was at residence in the 4500 block of Aviation Street, near Nellis Boulevard and Craig Road.

Later on Dec. 14, police responded to an armed robbery turned kidnapping in the 300 block of North Nellis Boulevard. They then tracked the suspects in the 3800 block of King Palm Avenue.

When police were bringing suspects into custody, the father of one of the suspects, Roberto Sanchez, came out of the home and pointed a gun at officers. When Sanchez didn't drop his handgun, he was shot and killed.

Two were taken into custody for the robbery.
