Traffic will be detoured westbound starting at Buffalo Drive and routed back to Summerlin Parkway at Rampart Boulevard. Eastbound traffic will be detoured at Rampart Boulevard and routed back to Summerlin Parkway at Buffalo Drive.

City officials said motorists are encouraged to avoid this area of Summerlin Parkway during the closure and suggested to use the alternates of Rampart Boulevard to Alta Drive or Vegas Drive to Buffalo Drive.

Concrete will be poured for the deck of the bridge that will eventually go over the highway with construction work ongoing at Cimarron Road and at the Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex.

The overall project consists of the bridge, trail and landscaping improvements with connections to the Cimarron Road and Bonanza Trail areas.
