Clark County commissioner welcomes Raiders but stands by vote

Despite her initial opposition to the stadium project to bring the Raiders to Las Vegas, a Clark County commissioner is ready for Raider Nation -- at least to a point.

"I welcome whoever comes," said Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani. "I was surprised by the vote, but that's the way it goes."

She still stands by her no vote. Giunchigliani says the lease agreement sent over from the Raiders needs to be fixed to be more fair to UNLV.

She also doesn't want additional expenses to come out of the deal.

"They better not come and ask us to pay for a flyaway, a roadway, anything off site," Giunchigliani said.
