U.S. farmers feed hundreds of millions of Americans each year. Keeping those people who harvest that produce safe from COVID-19 is crucial.
Like so many other farmers, Graves Williams in Florida says he is taking extra steps this fall to keep his workers safe, and he's making sure every employee is up to date on the latest rules and regulations.
"Without taking care of your workers, especially when you're trying to harvest produce, you don't have much of a chance of harvesting your crop," he said.
Williams also says he knows his workers are essential to not only his livelihood, but the U.S. economy.
