A new study looked at how schools can potentially expose Americans to COVID-19.
The study by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality used pre-pandemic household data. They examined how often those “at risk” were connected to schools.
The results found 42 to 51% of all school employees face an increased risk of contracting COVID-19.
Among all adults with his factor for severe COVID-19, it found nearly 34 to 44 million people had direct or within-household connections to schools.
