LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The pathway to higher education is full of barriers, but even more so during the pandemic. Migrant farm workers are some of the hardest hit.

But studying in 2020 is proving to be difficult.

The nonprofit group Mixteco works to get students in California's Central Coast out of the fields and on the road to college.

Mixteco works to provide advocacy, social services and even secure laptops so students can attend online classes.
