LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Retailers are working to rebound in December and customers are reaping the benefits.
To overcome losses due to the pandemic, business consultant Lacey Book says retailers big and small need a strong web presence that's easy to navigate.
She also recommends businesses reaching out to repeat customers through email and social media to offer discounts.
"People are price shopping, where in the past, people were able to find the money for the things that they really wanted," she said.
"But now what they're doing is spending money on what they actually need."
Lacey says her advice may be relevant beyond the pandemic because customer shopping habits and expectations may have changed for the long haul.
