LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — There are new concerns about toilet paper and other products disappearing off store shelves again during this second wave of the pandemic. But don't panic!
Dr. Seckin Ozkul, director of the supply chain innovation lab at the University of South Florida, says there's currently no shortage of paper products.
He says shoppers need to avoid hoarding and just buy what they need.
According to Dr. Ozkul, we've learned a lot since the start of this pandemic and many production facilities have been working overtime to make plenty of toilet paper.
"The supply chain is healthy," he said. "Trust the system as normal and everything will be ok."
Dr. Ozkul says facilities also aren't closing as they did back in the spring, which means there won't be a sudden halt in production.
