HENDERSON (KTNV) — There was an apocalyptic 5k in Henderson earlier today.
The Zombie 5K was held at Cornerstone Park on Wigwam Parkway.
Runners were challenged to finish the race while avoiding the living dead along the route.
The first 100 participants of the run got a t-shirt for "surviving" the 5K and all the scares throughout the course.
