Credit One Bank, in conjunction with the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, presented checks Wednesday totaling more than $37,000 to Family Promise of Las Vegas and The Shade Tree.
The check presentations took place in front of the “Go Knights Go!” building wrap displayed on the Credit One Bank Headquarters which can be seen from Buffalo Drive and I-215 south.
Special guests to the presentation and mini pep rally included Chance, mascot for Vegas Golden Knights, and Bark-Andre Furry, four-legged Vegas Golden Knights Fan.
Half of the funds donated to Family Promise of Las Vegas and The Shade Tree, both local nonprofits dedicated to providing housing and emergency services to families, women, and children, were raised at silent auctions during two Vegas Golden Knights games. The other half of the donation was matched by Credit One Bank.
