He became famous by giving away free cycles of in-vitro fertilization. Now, Doctor Geoffrey Sher is retiring, but not before one last life-changing move.

Tuesday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Sher is hosting one of his final seminars at 6050 South Buffalo Drive. At the end, he will raffle off his last, free IVF cycle. Usually, the treatment costs upwards of $10,000.

Over the years he's given dozens of free cycles away all over the world. He was even featured in a Netflix documentary, "Vegas Baby." It was released earlier this year.

One of the couples he helped lives in Las Vegas.

"It was kind of surreal because you just kind of never think that that's going to happen to you," said Megan Barborka, who had twins thanks to a free cycle of IVF.

"I never forget the Godfather movie. Al Pacino said, 'I'm no sooner on my way out then I get sucked back in.' That's what's happening with me," said Dr. Sher.

Dr. Sher is not looking forward to relaxing in his retirement. He plans to write a book about his experiences and he wants to keep consulting part-time.
