To help aid in the recovery of stolen vehicles, Friendly Ford and Team Ford of Las Vegas donated LoJack Police Tracking computers (PTCs) to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Saturday, April 2.

During the donation event at Friendly Ford, police helped facilitate the installation of LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems to selected area victims of auto theft who previously were not protected by the system.

In 2014, there were more than 10,000 cases of auto theft in the state of Nevada, with more than 70 percent of those cars stolen from Las Vegas, according to the FBI.
