Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, in partnership with Resource Investment Advisors, will celebrate Financial Literacy Awareness Month in April with the second annual 4.01K Race for Financial Fitness.
The event is a 5K and 1-mile fun run near the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding area on Sunday, April 7, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The official after party will be held at the exterior lot outside of Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
Participants will receive a race t-shirt, medal, swag bag and a ticket to the official after party. All proceeds from the event will benefit education and programming for over 20,000 students that Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada serves annually in Clark County.
“We are so excited to see the participation growth at this year’s event,” said Michelle Jackson, president of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. “This year we’ve added corporate wellness packages allowing more community involvement through local businesses. Our goal is to generate more awareness on financial literacy and Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada as a whole.”
