The St. Baldrick's Foundation Lepre-Con Saturday set a world record for the largest gathering of leprechauns.
More than 1,400 people got together at Town Square Las Vegas for the event that raises money for childhood cancer research. The previous record was set in Ireland in 2012.
To kickoff the event, 9-year-old Hallie Driscoll shaved her head in solidarity with her sister who is fighting brain cancer.
There was also a 5k run/walk, a kids activity corner and musical performances.
