The RTC is adding new lighting to nearly 1,400 bus stops throughout Southern Nevada.
It's all being done to make riders feel safer while they're waiting for the bus.
As part of the re-vamp, nearly 1,100 bus shelters are getting a new lighting system installed.
And solar lights are being installed at 300 other bus stops.
The RTC is leveraging $4 million in federal grant funding to pay for the projects.
