Over 2,500 students nationwide participated in the 19th annual HACEMOS National High Technology day, including one group from Rancho High School. The event gave students the opportunity to learn about careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Las Vegas was one of 35 cities participating in the events. Hosted at AT&T's local office, students participated in hands-on workshops about STEM fields and distracted driving awareness. Motivational speakers from UNLV and leadership from AT&T also gave special presentations.
