Firefighters delivered Christmas presents to a family that lost nearly everything in a house fire shortly after Thanksgiving.
Operation Fire H.E.A.T. and firefighters who battled the blaze, stopped at the Deranleau family's new home to make sure their children have a great Christmas. The family has children ages 18, 15 and 7.
The fire happened in a home on La Palma Parkway near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95. Everyone was able to get out OK but the house was a total loss.
The family is extremely grateful for the support.
"It's completely overwhelming, they've done so much," said mother Cynthia Deranleau. "The firemen there that night helped us and now they're helping us again. I'm so thankful for everything they've done. I'm so appreciative."
The family had previously received the basic necessities after the fire, also from Operation Fire H.E.A.T.
