United Way of Southern Nevada announced that the community raised $7,760,734 during the 2015-16 UWSN campaign, an increase of $157,371 over the 2014-15 campaign and $188,288 over its campaign goal.
This year’s result represents the first time in six years that UWSN has exceeded its goal and the first time in four that year-over-year campaign revenue increased.
The key to United Way’s successful campaign are the support of over 300 workplace campaigns and over 20,000 donors who made a gift during United Way’s campaign.
With the revenue raised during the 2015-16 campaign year, United Way creates the foundation for a better life for all.
This financial support goes directly back into the community to help prepare children for school, teach financial literacy skills and help students reach high school graduation, improving the lives of thousands of people in Southern Nevada.
