Nevada State College nursing students score 100% on National Licensure Exam despite pandemic setbacks

Despite COVID-19 challenges, Nevada State College announced that 50 students within its School of Nursing all secured passing scores in September’s National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Registered Nurses which resulted in a 100% first-time passing rate.

As one of the state’s largest contributors of nursing graduates who go on to secure nursing positions within our valley’s healthcare system, Nevada State College’s School of Nursing continues to hold impressive NCLEX passing rates.

This year’s third quarter testing results showed a 95.09 percent passing rate for 125 first time test takers.

Nevada State College’s School of Nursing continues to be nationally recognized for the quality of its nursing program with the most recent recognition from intelligent.com which recognized Nevada State’s online RN to BSN program as one of the best in the nation.
