UPDATE 12:45 P.M.: The Neon Museum confirms that the event on April 4 is sold out and says there are no plans to have a standby line at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- The Neon Museum will soon dim the lights inside Neon Boneyard so guests can get a clearer view of the stars.

"Stars and Stardust" is a free event taking place on April 4 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

According to the museum's website, the event is currently sold out. Although it's free, guests need to register online in advance.

Those who attend will have access to professional telescope equipment.

13 Action News has reached out to the museum to see if it will have a standby line similar to the sold out Tim Burton book signing event back in January. Make sure to check back for updates.

The Neon Museum has hosted stargazing events in the past.

As of right now, the only upcoming stargazing event listed in its website is the April event.
