Dozens of North Las Vegas residents took to the streets Saturday for a massive neighborhood cleanup.
Neighbors with trash bags, brooms and dust pans picked up trash and leaves all in an effort to beautify the community near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Craig Road.
"We do it every year just to again, come together, keep the neighborhood clean, make connections with other neighbors and look out for each other," Teresa Cragon said.
Cragon said after a murder in her neighborhood several years ago, she began the cleanup effort to help bring neighbors together to prevent crime in the area.
