More than 1,300 couples got marriage licenses in Las Vegas for Valentine's weekend.
Clark County officials also expected more couples due to the Presidents Day holiday Monday.
As of 10:30 p.m. Sunday, more than 1,300 couples had gotten licenses over the weekend with the 1,000th couple being from Las Vegas. There were also couples from Arizona, California, Utah, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Canada and China, among others.

The county clerk's office was giving out flowers to every 100th couple who receives a marriage license.
The days surrounding Valentine's Day are typically the busiest days of the year for marriage licenses in Las Vegas. Last year, 1,673 marriage licenses were issued.
The county clerk's office issues around 80,000 licenses a year.
