On March 2, preschool and kindergarten students from Merryhill Preschool on Alta Drive will celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday through a variety of activities that fit the theme of his books and incorporate science, technology, engineering, arts and math learning outcomes.
Dr. Seuss’ birthday celebrated on March 2, is National Read Across America Day.
The National Education Association’s Read Across America program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnership and reading resources.
For the week, Merryhill Preschool students have been challenged to read ten books.
