HENDERSON (KTNV) — A single mother of four has a new place to call home, thanks to the hard work and generosity of the Las Vegas community.
Elizabeth Trantham has the keys to a new home in Henderson, built through the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
Trantham faced several hardships, including homelessness, since graduating from the Community College of Southern Nevada.
But she said she never gave up hope and always put her children first - saying that being a single mother has been the most rewarding gift in her life.
Wednesday, Habitat for Humanity staff members, board members, volunteers, and sponsors were at the home dedication ceremony for the presentation of the keys.
