Kids can hike, practice archery, play disc golf, and make crafts during Lee Canyon's inaugural Youth Adventure Day on July 20.

The adventure runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a guided hike on the Bristlecone Trail, a nine-hole game of disc golf, archery, an arts and crafts session, and wildlife identification. Kids will also learn about the "Leave No Trace" principles.

Registration is $40 per child and is limited to the first 30 kids. Lunch is also included, though children with dietary restrictions will need to bring their own food. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay in and around the resort during the day camp.

Lee Canyon officials say that children should wear sturdy shoes and sun protection. A lightweight hooded jacket is also recommended.

You can register for the Youth Adventure Day here.
