Law library offering free bankruptcy classes

If you need help getting your finances in order this year, we have a free solution for you.

The Clark County Law Library and Nevada Legal Services are offering free classes every other month from February through June, 2016 on Bankruptcy and Consumer Rights in Nevada.
 
The class is being offered as a community service by Nevada Legal Services.
 
Classes will be held every other month on Tuesdays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clark County Law Library located at 309 S. Third St., Suite 400, in downtown Las Vegas.
 
The dates include Feb. 23, April 19, and June 21. Seating is limited; please call (702) 455-4696 to reserve a seat.
 
Topics include whether to file for bankruptcy, the difference between Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy, debt collector harassment, and how to receive free help.
 
Qualified participants may apply for a Pro Bono Attorney after attending class. More information about the class and directions to the Law Library is posted on the Law Library’s website page.
