Las Vegas police officer inspires woman to become sheriff's deputy

A Las Vegas police officer, who is now retired, inspired a woman to become a sheriff's deputy in Philadelphia.

Karissa Rivera has thought about being in law enforcement since she was 10 years old with a D.A.R.E. officer visited her 5th grade class in Las Vegas.

Her colleagues wanted to make her swearing in extra special so they tracked down retired Sgt. William Stockdale.

Stockdale has always wondered if the program meant anything to anyone but he now says he will never have to wonder that again.
