The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation will hold its 4th Annual Cops & Canvas Art Auction Fundraiser at 6 p.m. on April 5 at the all-new AREA15, 3230 W. Desert Inn Road, #180, Las Vegas, NV 89102. This event highlights the talents of the officers and members of the LVMPD family, showcasing the artistic side of our law enforcement officers. Funds raised directly support community safety programs, advanced officer training, and crime-fighting equipment and technology.
AREA15, an experiential and interactive entertainment, retail, dining and nightlife complex set to open in late 2019, will serve as the host venue for this unique event. Local artist Henry Chang, whose work will be featured at AREA15, will greet guests while two local artists, Tim Bavington and Linda Alterwitz, are donating artwork for the auction and will be in attendance to share insights about their work. For the first time, the event is being curated by art collector Patrick Duffy.
Individual tickets are $75, and every dollar raised from ticket sales and the art auction will directly support the crime-fighting and community safety programs, services, and initiatives of the LVMPD Foundation.
