Hundreds of people came out for One Drop's Walk for Water Saturday.

The annual event helps bring attention to the millions of people who don't have access to clean water. It started at The Smith Center and then participants ran, jogged or walked all the way to Springs Preserve.

"We're very fortunate, living in Las Vegas, to have water whenever we need it, but we recognize there are a lot of people all around the world for whom 'one drop' is a rare commodity," said participant Marcia Johnson.

Former UFC champion Forrest Griffin and Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman were among those who came out to raise awareness.

All proceeds from the event go straight to charity.
