The family of fallen officer Alyn Beck thanked Operation FireHEAT for its support at an event Sunday.
This past year, Operation FireHEAT's board voted to support the family of Beck, who was killed at CiCi's Pizza in June 2014.
On Sunday, Operation FireHEAT held its largest fundraiser of the year and raised $100,000.
"They showed so much love to my family last Christmas," said Nicole Beck. "They just surprised my kids with so much, and it was at a time when I couldn't wrap my mind around doing Christmas without Alyn. It just meant so much."
Brazyl Ward, who was hurt in a hit-and-run in 2013, was also at the event to pick out raffle winners and thanked Operation FireHEAT for helping them too.
