Friendly Ford to host Spring Paws for the Cause Saturday

Friendly Ford’s semi-annual Paws for the Cause dog adoption hits the showroom floor Saturday, May 12.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the dealership located at 660 N. Decatur Blvd.

The pooch extravaganza will feature pups from the Animal Foundation. Last year’s event resulted in new homes for 31 dogs and microchips for more than 90 animals.

The event will also provide free microchipping for all pets, compliments of Friendly Ford. Administering the microchipping will be Warm Springs Animal Hospital and the Blue Cross Hospital.

Other sponsorships will be provided by MPK9 Dog Training and On the Spot Doggy Stylers.

A Spring Cleaning Blanket Drive has also been included in this year’s event. Those people dropping off blankets will receive a free drink and appetizer coupon from PT’s Taverns.

Friendly Ford New Car Manager Taylor Warf discovered the value of owning a dog when he adopted Lucy at last year’s fall version of Paws for the Cause at Friendly Ford. The spring version of Paws for the Cause is set for Saturday at the dealership at 660 N. Decatur Blvd.
