A Clark High School alumnus appeared on "Shark Tank" Friday night and got a shark to accept his pitch.
26-year-old Shaan Patel came up with the idea for his company, 2400 Expert Test Prep, while at Clark High School after he improved his own SAT score. It is a six-week prep course for both the SAT and ACT.
The other sharks decided to pass on his pitch but Mark Cuban gave Patel a chance.
"The sharks were not as mean to me I thought as maybe you see them be to other entrepreneurs," Patel said. "I think it's because I was well prepared, but they definitely asked me some tough questions."
