Some Arbor View High School students got their hands dirty Friday to build native plant gardens.

Their plan is to grow produce to sell at farmers markets.

The project is part of The Nature Conservancy's Nature Works Everywhere grant program. Three other schools in Las Vegas are in the program, including Chaparral High School, Gene Ward Elementary and Roger M. Bryan Elementary.
