People could "run away" with Cirque du Soleil at is 5K run and 1-mile fun walk Saturday.
The 15th annual event was held at the Springs Preserve. Participants were able to spend the day listening to live music and even take photos with their favorite Cirque du Soleil artists.
"The performers when they finish working at 11 at night and they are here at 5 in the morning," said Calum Pearson of Cirque du Soleil. "This is something important to them. This is something from the heart for every single one of them."
All proceeds from the event go to support the educational and environmental sustainability programs for foundations at the Springs Preserve and Cirque du Soleil.
